Tony thank you for being a caring friend and one of life's greatest characters. I had hoped that in 2025 I might have been able to meet up with you and have a chat and a laugh but God had other plans for you and I believe you are now at peace for all eternity.

We all loved your sense of humor, your naughty jokes and your amazing spirit of motorsport. When I attend Silverstone I always popped into Scrutneering to hear your news and joke. You always treated everyone with respect and had time to pass on your knowledge to other racing officials.
